YAY! It rained enough to be helpful, my grass is turning green again, the streams and rivers are looking better and I didn't have to water the flowers for the last two days. NOW STOP!!!! 4 inches in two days is enough for now!!!
I decided to go road riding today since as I drove home the roads for the most part were drying. I got in 25 miles! I enjoyed my ride despite riding amongst the 5-6pm traffic morons. I felt great on the bike, I felt like I put in a good effort, I took a nice route and yup, I got rained on. You see, we always hear about routes in the southern part of the city and county, but hey there are some roads to link together over here too!!! I'm planning to post most of my route on a website in a few minutes. It will be edited down so as not to give weirdos a road map to my front door. You never know who's reading your blog. =) Most of ya'll I know, and like a lot and you'd be welcome here anytime. I am looking forward to my weekend for sure now. I know that jury duty is OVER!!! I called today and they've ended the August term - I never had to report! What a pain in the ass though, call them every day? SHEESH!!!
So Friday - trail work on Mill Mountain
Saturday - I'm on call and tied to the phone, but HOKIE FOOTBALL kicks off at NOON!
Sunday - hoping to go ride the Candler's Mountain race course
Monday - oh I don't know. If I'm not completely pooped, I'll go ride some more!
YAY!!! Ok, that's enough for now. Back to watching the DNC - yea, sorry I'm a dork and like these kinds of things. If you've missed it, there have been some awesome speeches!

OK...if I'm not pro-DNC, does that make me a weirdo??? Yeah, I'd be weird no matter what political party I aligned myself with (or, as in the current case, none!).
Anyway, Obama's speech will be amazing, I'm sure. Planning on watching it.
Peace,
Brain
